My dear hubby & I purchased our little brick bungalow in the fall of 2005. We were new to Lincoln. We were clueless about home ownership and frankly life in general. What we have gained by purchasing and subsequently renovating our little abode has been invaluable. It's been an experience worth experiencing. After all, isn't that what it is all about. As I will share upcoming, we have completed 1434 and are looking forward to our next experience, our next chapter, our next home.

A Blog
Blog. What a strange and perplexing word. I am new to the blog. Yes, at my age a virgin to the blog. I'm not sure how to proceed nor how to articulate the oddity of myself blogging so I will cope internally at this time. I will attempt to join mainstream society and see if anything of substance shall arise, although I am doubtful (and no, I am not one those "the glass is half empty" people, usually... I prefer the term realist).

Hey Sweets, it's hard remember what our house used to looked like when we first moved in. A mess, that's for sure. All in all, I've had a great time fixing it up with you. Along the way we figured out our own sense of style and have since infused this house with personality, turning into our home.
ReplyDeleteWe've learned so much about the ins and outs of owning an old home. It's never seemed like such a big a deal until we were buried neck-deep in it. That's the only way to learn I suppose.
Anyway, have fun with your blog, I'll do my best to help you figure it all out. Next step: Pictures!
